Sweet Things

There is something comforting about sweet things - not sugar, although - what's not to love? No, I mean simple, innocent and lovely things. The way we wish our life was all the time.  Our favorite colors, scents, and softest things to the touch - all speak the word 'sweet'.  It is what we think of when we see a new born baby, puppies,  or a nest of fledglings. Pinks, greens and baby blues are all my favorites because they define Spring which brings renewal, not just to the earth, but to our souls and hearts - it says 'Rejoice in Spring, and the risen King'.   The sweetest of all!

Valentine Lovliness

I truly do love a good holiday - and Valentine's Day is one of those. Maybe because I like the colors pink and red with white, or maybe it is the chocolate! Or maybe it is the vintage Valentines that I collect - better yet, maybe it symbolises what we wish we had the energy to demonstrate all year and that is simply - love! For one day, we can pull out all the stops and decorate the table with all of our favorite things, make a special dinner and invite those we cherish to partake with us - and give love freely. That is 'Perfectly Charming'.
